The motets are in five parts except for Goudimel’s ‘Videntes stellam magi’ and ‘Hodie nobis caelorum’, which are for four voices. The attribution for ‘Domine non est exaltatum’ is given only in the index. The first six of the motets in this volume occur in the "Quartus Liber Modulorum," published by S. à Bosco and G. Gueroult in 1555. Final leaf contains blank printed staves.

Copy at K.2.b.11.(3.) Bassus part book only. Formerly owned by Adam Gumpelzhaimer. Manuscript inscription in black ink inside cover of K.2.b.11.: "Constant Fl 1". Manuscript numbering in black ink throughout K.2.b.11 starts as folio numbering then switches to numbering each piece. Manuscript inscription in red ink on title page of K.2.b.11.(1.): "A. G. 1597. Bibliopolae 40 k. Bibliopego 20 k. Constant 1 Fl". The opening words ‘Domine Deus’ have been added in black ink to the score of the motet of this name by Clemens non Papa.
